Admission Requirements

St. Cyprian Parish School is a private, Catholic, co­educational institution. The Admissions Department evaluates many factors when selecting applicants to be certain the St. Cyprian community maintains the mission and philosophy that has thrived for many years. We seek families who will support our mission and add positive contributions to our St. Cyprian Family. In accordance with our philosophy, St. Cyprian welcomes students who want a Catholic, 21st century academic education, and will strive to be socially responsible citizens who think strategically, act independently, and lead by example in a community with peoples of varied ethnic, cultural, and financial backgrounds. It is imperative that all students accepted are prepared developmentally and academically to ensure school­wide success.

General Requirements by Grade Level:

Students seeking admission to Transitional Kindergarten will need to:

  • Be 4 years of age by September 1
  • Complete the school application packet

Students seeking admission to Kindergarten will need to:

  • Be 5 years of age by September 1
  • Complete the school application packet

Students seeking admission to Grade 1 will need to:

  • Be 6 years of age by September 1
  • Demonstrate a readiness in academics, behavior, and social development for Grade 1 by successfully completing kindergarten
  • Provide a report card and/or confidential report from the kindergarten teacher
  • Complete the school application packet

Students seeking admission to Grades 2 – 8 will need to:

  • Complete the school application packet

As a Catholic school, St. Cyprian’s first obligation is to Catholic students who qualify for admission, especially those who are actively involved in their parishes. Students of other religions are welcome.

St. Cyprian admits students who qualify for admission without discrimination based on gender, race, or cultural background.
