How do I get an Application?

Applications are available October 7, 2016. Applications may be picked up and returned during office hours: Monday – Thursday, 7:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. and Friday 7:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Applications are also available on our website. It is advised not to wait until the final day to pick up an application, as the complete packet requires additional paperwork and information from other sources.

When can I visit your campus?

We invite you to see first­hand the educational environment you are seeking for your child. At our Open House on October 22, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. you will be able to visit the classrooms and meet the teachers. At our Visitors’ Days on December 7, 2016 and January 11, 2017 from 8:30 ­- 10:00 a.m. you will have an opportunity to view the school in action with informal tours led by our 8 th Grade Student Leaders. Please RSVP to let us know you are coming on our website beginning September 9, 2016.

Do applicants need to be tested?

It is important to our educational integrity that each student is developmentally prepared and finds success with our programs. To achieve this, all applicants are tested for placement consideration. An on­-campus evaluation with our outside educational resource company, Chancy & Bruce, will be scheduled at the time you return your completed application. The evaluation date for all applicants has been set for Saturday, January 28, 2017.

Is there an Application Fee?

Yes, there is a non­refundable application fee of $25.00 per child for applications submitted by January 26 , 2017 at 5pm. This fee is due when you return your completed application and includes evaluation and testing.

When are Applications Due?

Complete Application Packets are due January 26, 2017, by 5:00 pm, to be considered in the priority admissions round and to secure an evaluation time at our on­-campus developmental readiness test. Applications submitted after the deadline are subject to a $200.00 application fee per child and applicants will not qualify for the St. Cyprian sponsored developmental readiness tests. It will become the responsibility of the parents to schedule an appointment at the testing facility. A completed application and paid fee does not guarantee acceptance into St. Cyprian Parish School. We are sorry that we can only accept application packets with complete information and required forms.

Do you accept persons of other faiths?

Yes, St. Cyprian admits students who qualify for admission without discrimination on the basis of gender, race, or cultural background. However, as a Catholic school, St. Cyprian’s first preference is to Catholic students who qualify for admission. To that end, it is a requirement that all students participate in Religion classes and other Catholic practices at school.

Is there a waiting list?

Once the admission selections for the year have been made, the additional qualified students will be placed on a waiting list and notified if a space becomes available. In some instances, you may be contacted as late as August.

How much is the tuition?

The current tuition for 2016­ - 2017 is $4,644.00 per student annually. Tuition can be divided into 12 monthly payments through our tuition management program with FACTS. You also have the option to pay in full by check by June 15 each year. The tuition will not remain the same for the 2017 - 2018 school year as it increases annually. Tuition and Fees will be finalized and distributed with registration packets.

Are there additional financial obligations?

Each family is responsible for a Fundraising Commitment each year. It is currently $500 per family. This can be made through a personal donation or through raffle sales. We offer additional programs and events that support the school and the bonds of our community but are not required.

Will there be opportunities for me to serve the school?

YES! We depend on the time and talents of our parents to support the many programs at St. Cyprian. Each family serves 10 hours annually supporting our programs and an additional 6 hours working the drop­off line to ensure our children are safe each morning.

Does St. Cyprian offer any type of financial aid or tuition assistance?
