I was born and raised in Long Beach, California, and attended St. Cyprian School. After graduating from St. John Bosco High School in Bellflower, California, I studied Anthropology and graduated from Cal State University Long Beach. I spent several years as a missionary and seminarian with the Missionaries of Charity following college, and lived a good portion of that time in Mexico (se habla espanol). After a discernment period, I returned to California and began teaching in a Catholic School in Oxnard. I soon met and married my wife of three years and we have a beautiful 2 year old son with another boy on the way this October. I am happy to return with my family now to my home parish and elementary school, and I look forward to a great year in this awesome Catholic community.
